INDIAN ALMOND LEAVES Harvesting, Collection and Drying Process
INDIAN ALMOND LEAVES is the trading name of IndianAlmond.com.au offering dried, harvested leaves of the Terminalia catappa tree for sale.
The leaves you purchase from IndianAlmond.com.au are minimally handled and processed before being packaged for shipping to you, the end user.
Ideally, we harvest freshly fallen leaves from the forest floor and the only other step prior to packing is giving the leaves time to air dry so that the risk of mould or deterioration is minimised.
Once dried, the leaves are packed into sealed plastic bags for shipping direct to your door.

At IndianAlmond.com.au we made the business decision to offer FREE SHIPPING AUSTRALIA WIDE – FOREVER as a service to our valued customers. With ongoing customer feedback, we quickly learned that online aquarium enthusiasts were faced with two fundamental challenges when buying Indian Almond Leaves online.
1 – Small lot size – So many aquarium outlets and online retailers only offer Indian Almond Leaves in vanishingly small leaf counts – with typical orders being for 6, 10 or 12 leaves ONLY!
It didn’t take us long to appreciate that serious aquarists wanted to buy in more substantial numbers to avoid running out of leaves. Hobbyists expressed quite clearly their frustration at having to buy multiple small-count retail packs.
2 – Paying Shipping / Delivery fees multiple times – Once aquarists were on board with the whole botanical aquarium concept – it is surprising just how many leaves you can consume across a few fishtanks in a short period of time!
And repeat buying meant repeat payment of delivery/shipping fees, which unfortunately are rarely invoiced at cost-price these days – so suddenly a small count Indian Almond Leaf order can have almost 50% of the final invoice in shipping fees.

This way, we could kill two birds with on stone – offer a decent 6 months supply of leaves in the one transaction, and also cut through all the hidden costs so our valued customers can see EXACTLY what you will pay, at a glance, with no nasty surprises.
What if I’m unhappy with my Indian Almond Leaves?
If you are not happy with your Indian Almond Leaves – take a quick image using your phone and send it to us. Please ensure you include the delivery packaging and your delivery address printout in the image(s).
We offer a replacement guarantee and will replace any leaves that, at our sole discretion, do not meet our strict quality guidelines. In most cases this means there maybe 3, 5 or 8 leaves that are of inferior quality or suchlike and we will happily arrange for a discount off your next order, or we can replace the leaves as we see fit.
It is highly unlikely that a full consignment of leaves will be shipped to a customer – in breach our strict quality control processes, so we rarely if ever replace a full order outright. Please be patient and appreciate that we are not in the business of sending out inferior product expecting returns/refunds – our quality standards are high and we rarely get adverse feedback.
Shipping / Delivery Issues
We do occasionally experience delivery / courier issues and generally these episodes are beyond our control. In all instances we act with the utmost ethical regard and work alongside you to arrive at a resolution that is acceptable to both parties.
Refunds / Exchange / Credit
Once a sale is completed online through the shopping cart and the payment is processed, it is considered a final sale and we will honour the order.
On occasion, you may enter a wrong address or not be available for receipt of delivery – in this case we advise reaching out and making contact so we can see if we can adjust things to suit you.
We do not give refunds or store credit or exchange.
